thats what i cant figure out myself. Within not even a day it stopped working, so whatever. roughyl how much would i spend on a good sound card, dont want to go over 100 if possible

Just yesterday i was using my mic when i happened to have the cord around my chair and when i spun around it was still plugged in and it ripped pretty hard breakign something. Thing is, i have 2 mic ports(on case & onboard) now neither of them work, even with my new mic that inst broken it...

I thought i had the problem solved, but a few days later i started getting the messsage agian, with my floppy,cd,fans all unplugged no power but it still came up during games, My local tech guy said it might be a shortcircuit on the mobo, but im not sure cause i dont want to waste money ona psu...

no worries i phoned microsoft and got it all figured out

no its a real copy copy, i have the cd when i built my computer, its just that i blew my hd in an old one and this one,so wouldnt a phone to microsoft solve this

I cant for the love of god seem to activate windows, im pretty sure im looking at the product key on the side of my comp but no it says product key is unauthorized, i tried phoning the number they gave me but its no help since i cant get connected to it

well i just unplugged my cd drive and my floppy and well i ran bf2 for 2 hours without that power surge message coming on, thanks for the help, looks like i might be buying a new psu. Any ideas which i should go for?

so if i unplug those devices while its turned off and i grounded myself, wont i have issues booting back up since it wont detect those? just kidna want to make sure before i Screw things up

i looked on the psu and theres 17amps on the +12v rail, and yes my computer guy installed a pci card, hopefully this is neough to solve the problem

I've been looking at computer cases but im kind of confused to which type to get, like how do i find out what case will fit my stuff. I have a hp desktop Form Factor Micro ATX would that be the kind of case id have to get one in M-ATX
